Ikon Science is proud to announce the release of Curate 2024.2, marking a significant step towards transforming how data is managed, visualized, and understood.

What's New:

A cornerstone of this release is our enhanced and re-engineered integration with the industry data platform, OSDU. As a result of recent upgrades, the tool now interacts fully with the OSDU Wellbore DDMS, enabling detailed querying and visualization of data by users, through the intuitive web-based Curate applications. In addition, the tool now supports co-visualization of data from both OSDU and the embedded Curate database. This allows users to visually integrate wellbore data types regardless of whether the OSDU DDMS currently supports them, driving adoption and value of the OSDU platform for business units.

Additionally, we're rolling out new features like customizable well symbols for better geospatial visualization, an updated Data Matrix for organized data inventory, and improved filtering for efficient well discovery. These enhancements are designed to elevate end-user data interaction, addressing everyday challenges, and enriching a deeper understanding of available subsurface data.

The Well Viewer now supports secondary y-axis displays in the cross-plotter, enhancing data visualization by allowing for the simultaneous display of multiple datasets with different scales on a single graph. This improvement aids in the better comparison and understanding of variable relationships, which might be missed with standard scaling.

Progress has also been made for this release in optimizing user-interface layout and screen real estate, providing a more intuitive user experience to Curate's Seismic Viewer application. This development work is part of an ongoing effort to drive enhanced usability, visualization, and data accessibilty adapting closely to Curate's growing userbase's feedback.

What's Improved:

Curate 2024.2 displays significant performance improvements to Curate's platform as well as the integration of new custom properties with more responsive updates. Upgrades have also been made to Curate AI chat, introducing new controls on the persona and depth of response. These updates reflect our dedication to improving and evolving Curate, making it more responsive, user-friendly, and effective for managing data and generating insights, staying true to our goal of a platform that evolves with user needs and remains intuitive.

Summary:

The Curate 2024.2 release marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing powerful, user-friendly software solutions. With these updates, we're excited to offer our users more flexibility, speed, and control in their data analysis endeavours.
